Planning a Visit

When you visit our farm, you will be greeted warmly, and we will help direct you to the fields.  We're happy you're here!

Egolf Christmas Trees, Inc.

A family tradition since 1955

Our farm is a choose-and-cut farm, which means that your family gets to pick your perfect tree out of our fields and then cut it down. We provide the saws and a nifty cart to bring the tree back on. Once you have cut your tree, we will shake it and bale it in netting to help transport it with ease. We offer both of these services free of charge.

Be sure to visit our gift shop to see our greenery and check out our Christmas gifts and decorations. We do sell tree stands, but we do not drill the trees for the drilled stands. We also offer complimentary sassafras tea and coffee.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are a few changes this year to your experience at Egolf Christmas Trees.

In accordance with Indiana executive order, masks will be required inside our gift shop and anywhere that social distancing is not possible. This includes the entrance area, where you pick up saws and carts, and where your tree is processed after it has been cut. Please bring masks for everyone in your party aged 2 and up.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, we will expect everyone to remain at least six feet away from anyone who is not in your immediate family. Please give our workers space as they process your tree.

Our gift shop will be limited to only one or two families or a few individuals at a time. Please be respectful of other customers while you shop.

We will be sanitizing our hand saws and tree carts between uses. Please pay attention to the signs directing you where to pick up sanitized saws and carts and where to return them after your use.

We do not have any running water available to the public. We do have restroom facilities in the form of a port-a-pot, but no sink is available. We will have hand sanitizer located in the restroom facilities and in our gift shop.

As always, we will still shake any loose needles and wrap your tree in baling netting free of charge before you head home.

We will also still have our beautiful wreaths, grave decorations, and other greenery available. If you are looking for something specific, we encourage you to message us on our Facebook page to arrange something in advance.

We may update these policies due to changes in state or CDC guidelines, or if any other situation necessitates change. Please check our Facebook page or website before you visit to stay up to date.
